These fliers need a cage size at least 20 to 24 inches square(big enough to ensure the crest is not crushed and the tail can hang freely), with at least two perches spaced far enough apart to allow some flying. Perches should vary between 5/8 and 1.5 inches. They seem to enjoy natural branch and rope perches. Don't use sandpaper perch cover for these birds------it's too hard on their feet.

Get the biggest cage you can afford! You can usually find used large parrot sized cages for super cheep online. Very Happy
