I saw these rainbow lorikeets during a normal walk.... Smile I usually see a lot of cockatoos, but not many rainbow lorikeets, and I have never seen cockatiels where I am...

Wow! Where do you live? I would love to live in a area where I would see cockatoos and lorikeets on a normal walk.Razz

I am in Australia. Smile Australia is the home country of many wonderful birds, including cockatiels, but I think cockatiels are to be found in Queensland (rather than where I am).
Once a cockatoo landed on my balcony and wanted to steal Howie's millet spray! (The cage was on the balcony, but now I don't put it there any more because it can be dangerous).

I also live very close to the Botanical Gardens and I LOVE to sit in the rain forest patch as I can hear the birds chirping and it is so relaxing, like a relaxation CD, with the difference that it is real! But it is difficult to spot the birds there though because the branches and the foliage are so thick... Very Happy
